- Climbing Reinhart Schiestl
The Reinhard Schiestl-climbing at the Castle Steiner wall, probably the most difficult climbing in the Ötztal, leads through an almost vertical granite wall with more than 200m high and is continuously secured with steel cables, clamps and screw clamp retentions. At the exit there is a fantastic view over the Ötztal and Stubai Alps. Three picnic areas available.
- Climbing Stuibenfall
The climbing in Umhausen-Niederthai leads along a rock face of Niederthai to a small picnic area. Then you climb on the left side of the Stuibenfall to the exit. In order to view the 159-meter-high waterfall from a completely different perspective, the more adventurous can go across the "Stuiben" on a steel cable. An easier route is on the left hand side of the exit.
- Climbing Schwärzenkamm
Due to its high alpine location and orientation the north side this is a wonderful panorama climing trail amid the glaciers of Obergurgl. There are sufficient screw clamp retentions and two marked emergency exits are available. Climbing experience is required.
